Primary 7 Class Assembly

P7 recently rounded off a considerable amount of topic work by presenting their learning about the brain. Their work focused on aspects of neuroscience, learning and mindsets.

P7 also began to explore mature issues like how the brain is affected by drugs and alcohol. The class used different media including stop-motion animation to showcase a variety of learning.

As you can see from the attached photos the children worked very hard and presented their learning to a very high standard.

Well done P7!

Annual Rotary Club Quiz

We recently sent a team of quizzy rascals from P7 and P6/7 to compete in the annual Rotary Club Quiz. The event was held at Penicuik High School and contested by teams from all the local primary schools.

All of the children competing did very well indeed and the Cuiken team finished in second place, narrowly missing the chance to force a play off. A fun night and excellent effort from our P7 children who gave it their all – WELL DONE!
